MEET S. GALE BLETH
Gale Bleth’s career has been built around one mission: helping people stay safe without living in fear.
Born in Oakland, California and raised in a military family, Gale experienced life across the country before returning to California, where she built her career in education, leadership, and public safety.
She spent sixteen years at California State University, East Bay working closely with students and campus organizations, while also partnering with university police. At the same time, she served for sixteen years as a Crime Prevention Specialist with the Hayward Police Department.
Through that work, Gale taught thousands of individuals how to recognize danger, trust their instincts, and respond effectively in real-world situations.
She has been a certified R.A.D. Systems self-defense instructor since 2000 and has dedicated her career to making personal safety practical, understandable, and accessible.
Educator. Safety Advocate. Trusted Voice in Personal Protection.
Safety isn’t about fear. It’s about awareness.
Most people think personal safety starts with reacting. Gale teaches that it starts much earlier. It starts with noticing. Paying attention. Recognizing when something feels off and understanding why.
Her approach is not built on fear-based thinking or worst-case scenarios. It is built on awareness, decision-making, and personal responsibility.
Because the truth is, most situations give you signals before they become problems.
The difference is whether you know how to see them.
Through decades of working with students, communities, and law enforcement, Gale has seen how simple shifts in awareness can change outcomes. Not by making people anxious, but by helping them feel more prepared and more in control.
This is not about living cautiously.
It is about living confidently, with the ability to recognize risk, trust your instincts, and respond with clarity when it matters most.
